Cleaning the air fi lter
(see item 5, page 6)
Turn the boiler on/off switch OFF.
Remove the three thumb screws that secure the fi lter access plate
(see the illustration below).
Remove the fi lter access plate and gasket.
Pull the fi lter clamp back and remove the air fi lter.
Inspect the fi lter and the fi lter enclosure area for dust or debris.
Clean the fi lter, if necessary, by washing under running water. Shake
off excess water and towel dry.
If the fi lter enclosure and blower inlet show signs of
drywall dust, construction debris or other deposits, contact
your qualifi ed service technician to inspect the boiler.
Operating the boiler under these conditions could result
in potential serious personal injury, death or substantial
property damage.
If the fi lter is damaged or cannot be cleaned eff ectively, obtain a
replacement fi lter from your qualifi ed service technician.
To replace the air fi lter, pull the fi lter clamp back, insert the fi lter,
and allow the clamp to secure the fi lter in place.
Replace the fi lter access cover gasket and access cover.
Replace the three thumbscrews and fi nger tighten securely.
Turn the boiler on/off switch ON.
