Troubleshooting
Start by disconnecting the link to the car battery’s negative pole to avoid a short circuit when working
with the leads in connection with troubleshooting.
Symptom Possible

Solution
No sound, power indicator on.
Speaker or signal cables are not
connected correctly.
Fault with speaker or sound source.
Check all connections.
Check speakers and sound source
No sound, power indicator off.
No power at battery or control clamp.
Poor or no chassis connection.
Check the battery and the control unit
(car stereo unit).
Check the chassis connection.
Distorted sound.
The input sensitivity is incorrectly set. See section “Setting the input
sensitivity”.
The music lacks depth.
The speakers are not in phase.
Connect the speaker cables with the
correct polarity.
