Battery life and charging

Battery life

In normal use, the battery of the locator typically lasts up to 48 hours

from the last full charge.
The approximate battery level is displayed on the Safer Walking App’s

Home screen, below the time and date (see page 9 – How to return to

the Home screen).

Low battery alert

If the locator’s battery level falls below 20%, the blue light on the locator

will flash quickly, and a ‘low battery’ notification will be sent to all Safer

Walking App users’ smartphones to inform them.
This enables you to remind the wearer to charge the locator so that it

does not run out of battery when in use.

Charging the locator

The locator can be charged as described on page 4.
