TIGHTNESS
ATTENTION!
After every cooker connection to the gas cylinder check the tightness of the cylinder valve,
connection of the pressure-reducing valve with the cylinder and its operation.
NOTE!
1.
Do not check tightness with open flame (e.g. match or candle). This may cause explosion! Use soapy
water to check tightness.
2.
Check the hose and connection tightness periodically according to the applicable regulations.
3.
The rubber hose should not touch hot cooker parts.
TYPICAL FAILURES
1.
The gas does not light up
•
Check if the rubber hose, for supply with liquefied gas from the cylinder, has not been
crushed
•
Check if the main gas valve is open
•
Check if the gas cylinder is not empty
•
If a new cooker has been installed or the gas cylinder has been replaced, repeat the lighting
procedure until gas reaches the burner
•
Check if the nozzle or flame openings in the burner are not dirty or wet. If so, clean the nozzle
opening with a pin or needle. Use a brush to clean the burner openings. Then dry all the
parts.
2.
Unstable flame
•
Check if the burner parts are clean, dry and assembled correctly.
