TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
WARNING
:
When transporting the generator, turn the engine switch and the fuel valve OFF. Keep the
generator level to prevent fuel spillage. Fuel vapor or spilled fuel may ignite.
Before storing the unit for a long period of time, follow the listed steps:
m) If there is fuel left in the carburetor since the last time you stopped it (see 5.2) , turn the
engine on and switch the fuel valve OFF . In this way, the engine will stop by having
exhausted the gasoline from the carburetor float bowl.
n) Dismantle carburetor float bowl, drain it and clean gasoline remains.
o) Drain gasoline from the tank and from the fuel conducting tube to the carburetor.
p) Remove the spark plug and sprinkle slightly into the cylinder with an antirust spray (6 in
1 or similar). Reinstall the spark plug.
q) Be sure the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
r) Cover the generator to protect it from dirt ( if possible put it into a plastic bag)






Wheels kit
If your generator is supplied with a wheel kit, please follow the instructions:
1.- Place the bottom of the generator cradle on a flat even surface. Temporarily place unit on
blocks to ease assembly.
2.- Slide axle through both mounting braces on the cradle frame as shown (fig. 1).
3.- Silde a wheel (with the inflation valve facing out) and a flat washer over the axle, then secure
the wheel with a retaining pin (fig.2, fig.3 y fig.4).
4.- Install the other wheel in
the same manner.
5.-Secure each vibration
mount to the Support leg
with a lock nut and a cap
screw (fig. 5)
6.-Secure the support leg
to the cradle with cap
screws and lock nuts (fig.
6).
7.- Position the handles on
the cradle, cap screws and
lock nuts (fig.7 y fig.8).
8.-Check that all fasteners
are tight and tires are well
inflated.You already can
stand the generator on the
floor.
