5.6 RIC-GM23E Operation Instructions
After inserting the plug into the socket, a “Beep” will emit and the [ ] indicator will start to flash,
indicating the appliance in connection with a power source, known as standby mode. Place a
suitable cookware on the centre of the cooking zone. When the [ ] key is pressed, the appliance
goes to selection mode and the [ ] indicator remains light up. Press corresponding function keys
to start operation. Return to standby mode by pressing [ ] key after cooking.
Cooking Mode
• Hot Pot: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up. Display will show [1400] representing
that the default power is 1400W, and the power indicators will light up from left to right
until 1400W reached. It can be adjusted by pressing the [+] or [–] key to set desired power
level. There are 8 power levels in total. To change or cancel this mode, press other function
keys or [ ] key to stop the operation.
• Stir-fry: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up. Display will show [2000] representing
that the default power is 2000W, and the power indicators will light up from left to right
until 2000W reached. It can be adjusted by pressing the [+] or [–] key to set desired power
level. There are 8 power levels in total. To change or cancel this mode, press other function
keys or [ ] key to stop the operation.
• Fry: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up. Display will show [240 º] representing
that the default temperature is 240 ℃ , and the temperature indicator will light up at 240 ℃ .
It can be adjusted by pressing the [+] or [–] key to set desired temperature level. There are 8
temperature levels in total. To change or cancel this mode, press other function keys or [ ]
key to stop the operation.
• Congee: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up. Display will show [AU]. The power
indicators will light up from left to right until 1200W reached, representing that the default
power level is at 1200W where it cannot be adjusted. The default operation time is 1 hour.
Once finish, a “Beep” will emit and the appliance will return to standby mode. To change
or cancel this mode, press other function keys or [ ] key to stop the operation.
• Steam: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up. Display will show [240 º] representing
that the default temperature is 240 ℃ , and the temperature indicator will light up at 240 ℃ .
It can be adjusted by pressing the [+] or [–] key to set desired temperature level. The default
operation time is 30 minutes and there are 8 temperature levels in total. To change or cancel
this mode, press other function keys or [ ] key to stop the operation.
• Soup: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up, display will show [AU]. The power
indicators will light up from left to right until 1200W reached, representing that the default
power level is at 1200W where it cannot be adjusted. Default operation time is 2 hours, a
“Beep” will emit and the display will show [End]. The appliance will change to keep warm
mode and remain in operation for 2 hours. Operation will stop and return to standby mode
after keep warm mode is finished. To change or cancel this mode, press other function keys
or [ ] key to stop the operation.
• Warm Milk: Press the [ ] key and the [ ] indicator lights up, display will show [AU]. The power
indicators will light up from left to right until 600W reached, representing that the default
power level is at 600W where it cannot be adjusted. Default operation time is 30 minutes, a
“Beep” will emit and the appliance will stop the operation and return to standby mode. To
change or cancel this mode, press other function keys or [ ] key to stop the operation.
