“EASY” Safety Valve
1. Slightly push in the “
EASY” Safety Valve Knob,
located behind the CHILLBUSTER™ face plate on the right side
(Figure 46), and turn clockwise to
“OFF”
.
2. Before lighting, wait at least five minutes to allow gas which may have accumulated around burner to escape, then
slightly push in the “EASY” Safety Valve Knob and turn to
“PILOT/OFF”
(Figure 47).
3. Depress knob until air dissipates and gas flows to pilot (located on the right side behind the front burner). Press the
Piezo Ignitor Button
to light the pilot (Figure 48A), and continue to hold knob in until pilot remains lighted after knob
is released. The Pilot flame should be steady and soft blue surrounding 1/8 inch of the thermocouple tip and
extending approximately 1 inch beyond the pilot tube as
shown in Figure 49 below.
4. Slowly turn knob to “ON” to light front and middle burners.
5. Turn
Rear Burner Control Knob
(Figure 48B) clockwise to
light Rear burner. (To light all three burners at once, Rear
Burner Control Knob may be turned on prior to step three.
6. If burner(s) fails to light or if pilot goes out, repeat steps 1 through 4.
7. Adjust the burner flame height by turning the “EASY” Safety Valve
Knob clockwise to lower and counter-clockwise to raise up to full on.
8. For complete shutdown, push “EASY” Safety Valve in and turn to OFF”.
