Sensor Programming by OBD
This section covers programming the new TruSensor Tire Pressure Sensors. There
are four methods to program the Sensors: Copy by OBD, Copy by Activating, and
Automatically Create ID.
Sensor Programming - Copy by OBD (ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC)
This section programs New TruSensor Tire Pressure
Sensors with the Sensor ID registered on the Vehicle’s
Computer Board.
Note
: Recommended practice is to install a new
TruSensor in the same wheel, then writes the Sensor
ID to the Computer Board without performing the
Location Learning
function. This method (if available)
programs a new sensor.
To Program a New TruSensor using Copy by
OBD
:
1. After Vehicle selection is complete, select
Sensor Programming
then select
Copy by
OBD
.
