Peak Excursion
Defines the minimum level value by which a signal must rise or fall so that it is identi-
fied as a maximum or a minimum by the search functions.
Entries from 0
dB to 80
dB are allowed; the resolution is 0.1
dB. The default setting for
the peak excursion is 6
dB.
For analog demodulation, the unit and value range depend on the selected result dis-
play type.

Auto Max Peak Search / Auto Min Peak Search
If activated, a maximum or minimum peak search is performed automatically for
marker 1 after each sweep.
Remote command:
CALCulate<n>:MARKer<m>:MAXimum:AUTO
CALCulate<n>:MARKer<m>:MINimum:AUTO
Search Limits
The search results can be restricted by limiting the search area or adding search con-
ditions.
Search Limits ( Left / Right ) ← Search Limits
If activated, limit lines are defined and displayed for the search. Only results within the
limited search range are considered.

CALCulate<n>:MARKer<m>:X:SLIMits:LEFT
CALCulate<n>:MARKer<m>:X:SLIMits:RIGHt
Search Threshold ← Search Limits
Defines an absolute threshold as an additional condition for the peak search. Only
peaks that exceed the threshold are detected.
Remote command:
Use Zoom Limits ← Search Limits
If activated, the peak search is restricted to the active zoom area defined for a single
zoom.
Remote command:
CALCulate<n>:MARKer<m>:X:SLIMits:ZOOM[:STATe]
Deactivating All Search Limits ← Search Limits
Deactivates the search range limits.
