Figure 2-3 shows the slots for interface cards.

S1 and S2 are slots for uplink interface cards. S3–S8 are slots for downlink interface cards.
PS is the slot for power interface and alarm interface.
2.3.2 Uplink interface cards
There are 2 slots for the uplink interface card. A single slot contains 2 interfaces. The rate of
the uplink interface is 1000 Mbit/s. According to the service type, the interface card can be
divided into 1000 Mbit/s RJ45 interface card and 1000 Mbit/s SFP interface card.
Figure 2-4 list the types of the uplink interface card.

2.3.3 Downlink interface cards
There are 6 slots for the downlink interface card. A single slot contains 4 interfaces. The rate
of the downlink interface is 100 Mbit/s. The slot supports RJ45 interface card, 1×9 interface
card, and SFP interface card.
