4.1.3 Electrostatic conditions
To prevent human electrostatic from damaging the Gazelle S1000i-LI, you must wear an
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) wrist strap before contacting the Gazelle S1000i-LI. The ESD
wrist strap should contact your skin properly. Ensure that the other end of the ESD wrist strap
is properly grounded.
4.1.4 Grounding conditions
The Gazelle S1000i-LI must be grounded and the ground resistance should be no more than 1
Ω. Grounding properly is a necessity for lightning protection and anti-interference.
4.1.5 Other conditions
Before installation, you should ensure that auxiliary components are ready. For example,
cables and supporting facilities are correctly installed.
4.2 Installing device
4.2.1 Installing device on guide rail
When the Gazelle S1000i-LI is taken out of the packing box, it is installed with the rail
clip on the rear panel. The following installation and disassembling process aiming at
two types of guide rails.
Installing device on guide rail
Install the Gazelle S1000i-LI on the guide rail as below:

Connect the rail clip to the guide rail, as shown in Figure 4-1.
