Prepare the new heating rod.

Slide the new heating rod into the heating block.

Note:

Ensure that the tip of the heating element is flush with the block, as shown in the picture

below.

13.

Reinstall the screw retaining the heating rod.

Note:

Reinstall the screw firmly, but not so tightly that the heating rod is compressed.

14.

Insert the hotend back into the extruder facing the back of the printer.
