Introduction

Congratulations on your new RAIS /

attika

 stove.

A RAIS /

attika

wood burning stove is more than just a heat source: it also shows that

you care about design and quality in your home.

To get the most pleasure and benefit from your new stove, it is important that the

manual is read through carefully before the stove is installed up and used.

For warranty and all inquiries regarding the stove, it is also important that you know

the stove production number. We recommend therefore that you note down the num-

ber in the table below.

The production number is at the bottom of the stove side.

Especially for Denmark - New rules for installation of wood burning stoves

On 1 January 2008 a new regulation for stoves came into force. The regulations intro-

duced new requirements for the installation of stoves concerning emission levels and

documentation. The consequence is that from 1 June 2008, all newly installed stoves

must have an EN approval together with a Norwegian or German approval.

It also introduces a test certificate to ensure that the requirement for emissions are met.

This certificate can be found at the back in this user manual, and must be signed by the

chimney sweep after installation. Please note, that the certificate must be signed prior

to the stove's first use, and should follow the stove throughout its lifetime.
