Locomotive Light Bulb Replacement
Follow the cab removal instructions found in the Greasing
Instructionssectionofthisbooklet(page10).
Rotate the headlight bulbcounter-clockwise to remove.
You can obtain replacement bulbs directlyfrom the M.T.H.
Parts Department.

Caboose Light Bulb Replacement
To replacethe interior light bulbsfollowtheseinstructions and see thediagramsbelow.

Slip the new tire onto the wheel. Youmayfinditusefulto
usetwosmallflatheadscrewdriversto stretchthetireover
thewheel.
Ifyoutwist thetirewhilestretching itoverthewheel,you
willneedto remove andreinstall thetire. Otherwise your
engine will wobblewhile operating.
Makesurethetireisfullyseatedinside the groove. Use a
razor blade totrimaway any e xcesstirethatdoesn't seat
itselfinside the grooveproperly.
Reassemblethe trucksidesto the truckblocks.

Removethe four (4)
screws located u nder
the caboose'strucks.
Lower the chassisfrom the
shell, takingcarenotto pull
thewiresout.

Carefullyloosen the
endframes onboth
endsfromthestep
platform.
Thengraspthe end
frame b y t h e bottom
andpivotoutward5
degrees. Remove
the step platforms
frombothends.
Lowerthechassisfromtheshell,taking
carenot topullthewiresout.

Replacethebulbby pushing the s ocketup
atan angle fromthebulbholder andpulling
thebulbfromitssocket.
Replacewithanewbulbandreverse the
steps toreassemblethecaboose.
