Removebatteriesbeforestoringforextendedperiods.
AnyattemptbyanyoneotherthananauthorizedM.T.H.repairpersontoopenand
repairthehandheldtransmitterorlock-onmayresultindamageandthelossof
warrantyprotection.
Ifyourtrainrespondsinconsistently,replaceoldbatterieswithfreshones. Donot
mixoldandnewbatteries.

Theengineshouldbeoiledandgreasedinordertorunproperly.
Regularlylubricateallaxlesandlinkagecomponentsandpickuprollersto
preventsqueaking. Uselighthouseholdoil,suchasthatfoundinM.T.H.'s
maintenancekit. Donotoveroil. Useonlyadroportwooneachpivotpoint.
Thelocomotive'sinternalgearingwasgreasedatthefactory. Greaseengineevery50
hoursofuseoroneyear. Usealithiumbasedgreaseandfollowthegreasinginstructions.

RemovethesixPhillipsscrewsfromthechassisthenliftthebodyawayfromthechassis.
Removethetruckblocksfromthechassisbyunscrewingthelargephillipsmotormountscrewonthe
bottomofeachtruckblock.
