A part of axel knife, which is not used for planing,
must be closed by protective guard at all times
(protective casing);
When planing the short objects, the pushing
pivots should be used;
For planing short objects extra security measures
may be necessary, for example, horizontal clips
and spring guards;
It is forbidden to use the machine for cutting out
curves, holes and threading grooves;
When planing, the saw disc must be taken off the
machine;
• When thicknessing:
While operating thicknesser, it is necessary to
check the efficiency of the device, preventing
the rebound of the treated materials on a regular
basic and also check the proper functioning of the
feeding roller.
It is not permitted to process billets shorter than
150 mm.
Do not plane more than two billets at a go.
● When sawing:
Do not stand in the work zone of the saw- blade!
Position yourself to the left or to the right from it;
Do not use deformed or damaged saw- discs;
Replace the insert of the table in case it has worn
off;
Use only the saw- discs, recommended by the
manufacturer;
Keep in mind that the choice of a saw- disc
depends on what material will be treated;
When shoving working object under the saw disc
pivoting pusher must be used;
Please ensure that the saw is connected to the
suck-in vacuum;
Use wedging knife and make proper adjustments
of it par.7.9.4;
Use the upper saw disc guard and adjust its
position properly;
Follow security directions when cutting through
grooves;
Ski (moving surface) must be adjusted on the
same level with the table (immobile surface).
The noise level is equivalent to – 89 db.
To provide the safety of work, the total time of
operating the machine without usage of individual
protective devices can not be more than 0, 64
hour.
More continuous work demands the use of
individual protective devices, which are included
in the set of the machine.

CAUTION! DANGER!
Even if the machine is operated correctly, there
may be the below dangers in place such as:
Contact with planer’s axel knife, saw blade,
milling thread.
Danger of getting injured by the rebound billet.
Danger of getting injured by the broken parts of
the billet.
During automatic feeding there may be a danger
of getting sucked in the machine.
Dangers connected with noise and dust.
Danger of electric shock in case of incorrect cable
connection.
The equivalent noise level conforms to the
requirements of GOST 12.4.051-87 and makes
up 89 dB (А).
In order to lower the affect of noise during
operation, the use of individual protective means
is a must (ear plugs included in the set).
The overall time of operation without using ear
plugs must not exceed 4,8 hours per working shift
The stated figures are indicators of the machine’s
operation. They allow an operator to assess his
personal risks.

4. INNER DESIGN OF THE MACHINE
The present woodworking machine represents an
electric mechanical device.
The asynchronous motor acts in the capacity of
the machine’s driving force. Revolutions from
the motor to the axel knife (outer shaft’s end) are
transited by way of wedge belt gear.
The rollers during feeding of the billets in
thicknesser mode are driven with the help of
reduction gear.
The power of the machine is set from one-phase
AC source with protective (grounding) cable.
The machine is equipped with the thermal
protective device to power off the machine in
case of overloading. The subsequent start of the
machine shall be made after the electric motor
has cooled down to the ambient temperature.
