2. GENERAL DATA
Multifunctional portable woodworking machine
(further referred to as machine), is designed for
planing (jointing), sawing, milling and drilling of
wood.
The following operations can be done by this
machine:
Basic operations
● Rectilinear planing (jointing) on a plane or
along ribs;
● Planing (jointing) at an angle (along ribs);
● Planing (jointing) on a plane using the clamping
device;
● Thicknessing;
● Lengthwise and cross-cut sawing to the needed
depth;
● Lengthwise sawing at an angle using guiding
ruler;
● Sawing lengthwise at an angle using ruler.
● Cross-cut sawing at an angle using device;
● Drilling and milling with end mills
The power of the machine is set from one-phase
AC source with protective (grounding) cable;
electric power source is as per GOST 13109-
87; electric power source must have appropriate
protection, designated for 20А power input.
Climatic execution of the machine - У, location
category 3.1 as per GOST 15150-69 for use at
air temperatures ranging from + 5°С to + 40°С.
Execution as per water protection category - no
protection from water.
The machine is equipped with emergency built-
in power-off function from overheating of an
asynchronous motor.
After power-off function goes off, the machine can
be switched on again after the electric motor has
cooled down to the ambient temperature.
The machine is equipped with outer cylindrical
branch pipes of Ø 100 mm and Ø 38 mm, designed
for installation of outer suck-in vacuum cleaner in
order to get rid of wooden chips and saw-dust .
The suction ventilation system or the external
dust suction device must provide a minimal air
flow of 20 m/s.
3. Precautions and security directions.
ATTENTION! Please read security directions
carefully before use!
When the machine is being used all precautions
and security directions of the present manual
must be used.
Strictly Prohibited:
● To use the machine under influence of water
drops and splashes so as in the open air during
snow or rain;
● To leave the machine unattended with power
source on;
● To hand the machine over to the persons who
are unable to operate it.
The machine must be switched off by pressing
automatic switch if stopped functioning (in case
moving parts get stuck etc.).
During pause in work the switch must be covered.
The machine must be powered off by unplugging
it from the socket:
● During replacement of tools, installation of
devices or adjustment;
● While shifting the machine from one location to
another;
● During pause in work and after work is finished;
● During technical service of the machine;
● During cleaning of the machine from chips and
saw-dust.
It is strictly prohibited to operate the machine in
case of occurence of one of the following faults:
● damage of plug or cable;
● occurrence of smell evidencing of isolation
burn or smoke;
● improper work of automatic switch;
● occurrence of excessive noise, striking of parts
or vibration;
● breakdown or appearance of cracks on the
body parts of the machine or on the protective
guards.
The cable must be protected from accidental
damage (it is recommended to hang it up). It is
forbidden to place the cable in close range with
the dirty or oily surfaces.
Always make sure there are no nails or other
things stuck in the treated materials.
Before switching on the machine put away the
spanners and adjustment tools to clear the work
space.
While using the machine, connect it to the suck-in
vacuum cleaner device.
When treating short or narrow objects use
wooden bar as a pushing device.
The following additional security directions are a
must:
● when planing:
It is forbidden to use the machine without properly
installed and adjusted respective protective
guards.
The use of blunt knives is not permitted because
of the danger of a rebound of a treated object;
