Use the adapter when there isn't time to recharge 

the Li-Ion battery pack. The adapter (P/N 046-

3051-000) accepts four AA alkaline batteries (use 

only Duracell MN1500 or Energizer 91) to provide 

approximately 12 to 14 hours of operation.
Remove the Li-Ion battery pack from the monitor.
Install four AA alkaline batteries into the battery 

Emergency Alkaline Battery Adapter

adapter, making sure the battery polarity is correct.
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screws.
The monitor automatically detects the alkaline batteries.
