Checking Site Suitability

Prior to installing the MCU you need to verify your site suitability for:

System power requirements

•

System environmental requirements

•

The device physical dimensions

Read the

mcu_ig_specs_hw.xml

to learn about these requirements. Ensure to make necessary

changes in case you find that the site does not meet any of the requirements described in that
section.

Unpacking the Device

We strongly recommend that you follow safety guidelines described in this section during
unpacking.

Procedure

Step 1

Inspect the shipping box to verify that it is not seriously damaged during shipping.

Step 2

Place the shipping box on a horizontal surface paying attention to the This Side Up symbol on
the shipping box. See

Figure 3-1 on page 16
