When heating reactions take care not to touch the base or head as
these may have become hot during evaporation.

We recommend a maximum operating temperature of no more than
150˚C. In normal use the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator will not
be used at temperatures much above 40˚C.

Temperature Control
For accurate temperature control during evaporation we recommend using the
RR98073 Fuzzy Logic Digital Temperature Controller.
To connect the RR98073 Fuzzy Logic Digital Temperature Controller, plug the
connector (DIN 12 878 Class 2) into the port at the rear of the stirring hotplate.
Important Note
Always ensure that the temperature sensor is completely inserted
into the block or rack.

Set the temperature to the desired level by following the
instructions of RR98073 Fuzzy Logic Digital Temperature
Controller. The set temperature can be maintained to +/- 0.5˚C.
The maximum recommended operating temperature is 150˚C.
However in normal use the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator
will not be used at temperatures much above 40˚C.
The stainless steel temperature sensor of the RR98073 is
positioned in the centre of the GreenHouse Blowdown Head
(through the Suba-Seal) to monitor and control the temperature
of the reaction block or rack.

Read the RR98072 Carousel Stirring Hotplate and RR98073 Fuzzy
Logic Digital Temperature Controller instructions thoroughly before
operation.

Important Note
GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporation System should only be
operated by trained and competent personnel. As with all
experiments, care should be taken to monitor your evaporation at
all stages. The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporation System should
not be left unattended unless in a supervised area.
