RadioLAN/10

RadioLAN’s family of 10Mbps wireless LAN products.  These products are
based on 10BaseRadio

Radius

The distance from the center of a circle to the outside edge of the circle.

RF

Radio Frequency.

RJ45

An eight-pin modular connector used to connect the 10BaseT feed to the
adapter card.

Screen

The visual component of a graphical user interface containing objects that a
user can control such as scroll bars, entry fields, drop-down list boxes, and
check boxes.

Spread-Spectrum

A technology that shares lower frequency bands.

Station

A computer using RadioLAN wireless networking equipment.

Station Name

A method of identifying your station to other stations attached to the network.

Subnet

Subordinate Network.  A group of stations grouped away from the rest of
the network.  Stations within a subnet share the same Subnet ID.

Transceiver

A device that transmits and receives frames broadcasted to and from other
stations on the wireless network.
