3.5.Connections in the junction box S-120 to the PCB of the RZ 2158/A1,A2,A3
K1:
Power
Here the 24 VDC (20 .. 36 VDC) is to be connected. The power is protected
for reverse polarity and overvoltage. The grounding must be done through the
swivel as shown in the drawing below.
K6:
NMEA
Here the NMEA input and output is connected. The NMEA input is to send
commands to the interface box. If the S-120 is connected on a Falcon system,
the NMEA input can be connected to a Falcon display unit or a NMEA
output of a MultiHUB. The NMEA input and output are galvanically separated
from the rest of the electronics. If multiple interface boxes in a Falcon system
are present a unique address per interface box should be entered. With
dipswitch SW3 you can choose between address 0 and 3.
