2. Rotate
TUNING
to select the desired station.
Note: The AM antenna is built-in. Rotate the cas-
sette player to improve AM reception. For the
best FM reception, fully extend the earphones’ or
speakers’ cord.
3. Rotate
VOLUME
to the desired listening level.
4. Pull up the cassette latch then pull open the cas-
sette compartment door. Slide
BASS
inside the
cassette compartment door to
ON
for an
enhanced bass effect or to
OFF
for normal bass
sound.
5. Set
FUNCTION
to
TAPE
to turn off the radio.
PLAYING A CASSETTE TAPE
1. Take up any slack in the tape
by turning one of the cas-
sette’s hubs with a pencil.
Caution: If you do not remove
the excess slack, the tape could become tangled
in the playback mechanism.
2. Pull up the cassette latch, then pull up the cas-
sette compartment door to open it.
