controlled racing car batteries. It can fully charge a 4.8-volt,
6.0-volt, 7.2-volt, or 9.6-volt nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal

Your Universal Charger’s features include:

Automatic Battery Type Selection — automatically selects
the battery type when you snap the battery into the charger’s
battery compartment, for foolproof charging.

Charge Indicator — lights when the battery pack is charging,
automatically turns off when the battery pack finishes charg-
ing, and flashes if battery pack fails to charge, indicating a
problem with the battery (the battery is not properly connect-
ed, needs to be replaced, or there is a short, for example).

Short Circuit Protection — prevents damage if the charging
jack is accidentally shorted.

Safety Guard Protection Timer — prevents overcharging
that can damage the battery pack.
