Unlocking All Volume Control (Restoring Global

USING TEXT EDIT
Your RadioShack 8-in-1 LCD Remote allows you to edit
the top line of your LCD screen to add custom
information. For example, you can change a default
mode label from
TV to My TV .
NOTE: A maximum of 10 characters is allowed for
Text Edit on the first line.
1. Press and hold P until the LCD displays
Code Set OK or
.
2. Use the or keys to scroll through the
LCD display until
Text Edit OK or
is displayed. Press
OK
.
3. The LCD displays
Press Mode or
. Press the
mode key whose text you want to edit (for example,
TV
).
4. Using your number keys like the key pad on a cell
phone, edit the text. The character you are
currently editing will have a blinking cursor. When
the first letter is set, press to advance to the next
letter. Pressing the key exits back to the previous
screen. Press the digit
0 to clear the current
character flashing.
5. Press
OK
to save the edited text. The LCD displays
Success
and exits.
