Series 8000™ O&M Manual

Update the ACU software

Any installed and properly licensed Radeus Labs ACU system can be
updated to a newer version of the software.

Where it is installed:

Starting with version 2.2.0, each version installs to its own C:\Radeus

Labs\<subdirectory>, where it stores a copy of the database file
(acu.dbf).

How to update:

To update from 2.2.0 or newer:

Make sure the ACU application is closed. If it is running,
choose Setup > About > Quit.

Launch the installer:*

RL8200-base-setup-X.X.X.exe

* To update earlier versions to version 2.2.0 or greater,

first

manually

back up acu.dbf

to an alternate location

—

the installer will not create a

backup of it. Then you may run the installer normally.

Subject to standard licensing.

Note

The ACU software is
not intended to be

downgraded

to previ-

ous versions. Call
Customer Support for
details.
