Connect a cable from the Host HBA SCSI port to the lower “CH 0” connector
on the RAID Controller.

If you wish to add additional enclosure(s), follow the instructions found at “Expansion
Connection” on page 39, otherwise skip to the next step.

Power on your system, refer to “Powering On the Storage System” on page 41.
This completes the setup and cabling of this configuration.
Direct Attach Connection - Single Host (Dual HBAs)

Complete the storage system installation.

Connect the SCSI data cable(s).

Connect one cable from the Host HBA SCSI port to the lower “Host CH 0”
connector on the RAID Controller.

Connect a second cable from a second Host HBA SCSI port or the second SCSI
port of a dual ported HBA to the lower “Host CH 1” connector on the RAID
Controller.
