regularly adjust the scrapers. Push the scraper up
to the roller - leave them gently touching. When
tightening the nuts, make sure that the scraper is in
contact across the entire width.
Mount the hard-coated scraper
(24/1)
with the
coating facing upward - towards the roller; distance
to the roller approx. 2 mm.
The tooth packer roller keeps itself in good
condition if they cleaned after every use and
protected from corrosion.
Blade replacement
Replace worn blades in a timely manner.
Mount the rotary blades so that they face in the
direction of rotation (

= top view).
Clockwise rotating rotary blade
(26/1)
- 2 right blades
Anti-clockwise rotating rotary blade
(26/2)
- 2 left blades
The left blades are identified with an additionally
engraved “L”.
Use the original bolts for the blade fastening,
inserted from below (bolt head on the blade side).
Tighten with torque wrench: 380 Nm
RABE recommends using rotary blades with
RABID hard coating
on stony ground or the like =
significantly longer service life.
Only replace blades while the engine
is switched off and the ignition key is
pulled out! In the process, wear protective
gloves and safety shoes. Use an
appropriate tool.
Quick-change system
Loosen the pin (
29/1
) in which the folding plug
(
29/2
) is inserted and pull it out. Lift the pin (
29/1
)
until the rotary blade can be removed from the
pocket. Insert a new blade, allow the pin to fall
below and secure with the folding plug.
