(4)After the adjustment, tighten the lock nut (shown no.2) and check the empty travel again.

(5)Refit the protection cover (shown no.1).

5. Clean the air filter

The air filter element used in this scooter is a polyurethane foam +paper element. If the filter element has become

clogged with dust, intake resistance will increase with a resultant decrease in power output and increase in fuel

consumption due to the richer fuel/air mixture. Check, clean and replace the air filter element according to the

maintenance cycle.

(1)Park the vehicle on its main stand. Unscrew the 3 screws (shown no.1) to remove the left side cover .
