Place of installation
The interface is supposed to be installed at a suitable location behind the vehicle`s head-
unit.
Depending on the vehicle, the head-unit is usually installed separately from the
monitor (most times in DIN size) in the
centre console, in the glove compartment or
hidden in the dashboard.
In
Porsche PCM4.0
the head unit can be found directly
behind the monitor
and is
connected to it.
In
VW Transporter (T6.1)
, the HU is
behind the center console
, located under the
A/C control unit.
