The probe (6) temperature sensor is positioned on the tip.
To correctly detect the temperature at the food core, try to insert
the probe (6) tip at the centre of the food, ensuring it doesn’t come
out of the food itself.
For no reason try to repair the temperature sensor of the probe (6).
Any repair intervention on the appliance carried out by
unauthorized personnel automatically voids warranty.
“RAPID FREEZING” light/key - core freezing
• Insert the probe (6) in the food.
• Press the RAPID FREEZING key, the corresponding indicator light lights up.
• Set the appliance as previously explained
(see paragraph “
“SET
”
key
“ - page 31).
• To start the appliance, press the START/STOP selector; the display shows the backward
counting of time and the temperature detected by the probe (6) (the internal probe
“12“ is deactivated).
The compressor starts after approximately two minutes.
- The
RAPID FREEZING
function can also be used together with
the preset programs:
FREEZING
and
RAPID CHILLING
. To start
the function, press key first, then key or .
To start the appliance, press the
START/STOP
selector.
- The RAPID FREEZING function works ONLY through the use of
the core probe (6). Once the appliance is started, the light
turns on and the temperature detected by the probe is shown
on the display (6).
- Press the CORE PROBE key (light off and core probe “6” deacti-
vated) if you want to display the internal chamber temperature
(instead of the core temperature).
Tips
Products preservation
• RAPIDLY CHILLED and/or FROZEN foods must
NOT
be stored inside the appliance, but
instead placed in the fridge or freezer while accurately covered and protected (with
film, hermetic lid, or vacuum-sealed).
• RAPIDLY CHILLED foods must be stored in the fridge at a constant temperature of +4°C
(+39°F).
• FROZEN foods must be stored in the freezer at a constant temperature of -18°C (0°F); it
is advised to label them with an adhesive label.
