Roadworthy check
You can take the general check on the (new) bicycle along
with the following bullet points:
◊ Are there any visible damages?
◊ Is the bicycle firmly standing on the kickstand?
◊ Does the bicycle make odd noises when cycling?
◊ Is the seatpost greased? (with acid-free vaseline)
◊ Is the steer stam greased? (with acid-free vaseline)
◊ Is there any slack in the bearings on the front fork?
◊ Are all bolts and nuts provided with blanco tectyl?
◊ Are all other possible small metal parts provided with
blanco tectyl?
◊ Are the wheels greased (with acid-free vaseline) and is
the grease rubbed out?
◊ Does the lock run smoothly and is it greased?
◊ Does the kick-stand work smoothly and is it greased?
◊ How does the bell sound? Is it mounted at the right
position?
◊ Are both the pedals greased at the screw-thread and
are they mounted properly?
