51 BATTERY & CHARGING
During charging a red light will be visible on the charger.
When this indicator is green, the battery is fully charged.
The Performance series are supplied with a 4A fast charger.
Charging time approximate (95%)
525 Wh: up to 4½ hours
735 Wh: Up to 5½ hours
Use only the supplied charger.
Use your charger only in dry, well-
ventilated places.
The battery charger is not resistant against
moisture and/or drop down shocks
!
After charging, always disconnect the
charger from the mains as well. This will
increase the lifetime of the charger and
prevent charging issues the next time you
connect the battery.
For your safety, you can charge and/or
store the battery the best in a (fire)safe
place.
If the battery is not used for a long time
it can sustain permanent damage. Make
sure you fully charge the battery every 3
months (24 hours on the charger).
When the battery is completely empty, you
need to charge it immediatly. When cells
are empty for a long time, they may be
irreparably damaged.
If the bike is not used for a long time, we
recommend you to remove the battery
from the bike.
