12 | Boiler gateway “Adam”
If after 2 minutes the boiler gateway
has not made a connection yet to
your WiFi network, the boiler
gateway will be recalled to the access
point mode.
WiFi?
Do you want to connect
the boiler gateway to
WiFi and do you have
an Android smartphone
or tablet? Search for the Plugwise
connect app in the Google Playstore.
The app will guide you connecting the
boiler gateway to the WiFi network.
No Android? Follow the next steps to
connect the boiler gateway to the WiFi
network.
Connect your smartphone or tablet
with the WiFi network of the boiler
gateway, starting with “smile_”.
Enter the short ID as your password.
Open the webbrowser on your
smartphone or tablet and go to
http://192.168.40.40. Because you
are connected to the network of the
boiler gateway, you will be redirected
to the network page of the boiler
gateway “Settings” > “Network”.
Press “Scan” and select your own
WiFi network.
Enter the password of your own WiFi
network and save the settings.
Please make sure that you reconnect
your smartphone or tablet to the
WiFi network to which you just
connected the boiler gateway.
Network cable?
Connect a network cable between
the router and the boiler gateway.
Check your network connection?
Use your smartphone or tablet that is
connected to the same network as
the boiler gateway is connected to.
Go to: https://adam.plugwise.net
Use your short ID to log in.
You will be directed to the webpage
of the boiler gateway.
Having trouble via WiFi?
Press the black button on the boiler
gateway for 5 seconds until the light
in the middle has blinked 5 times
and the upper light starts to blink
rapidly.
The network settings will be deleted.
Wait until the boiler gateway has
booted up, then try to connect the
boiler gateway to your WiFi network
again.
