1. Connecting the shut-off valve
Shut off the main water supply.
Disconnect the cold water supply hose
from the tap. Connect the shut-off valve
to a 3/8” male connection on the cold
water supply (or in case of a PRO3 tank,
the inlet reducing valve) using the hose
screen provided. Reconnect the cold
water supply hose from the tap to the
shut-off valve using the other supplied
hose screen. When installing the Cold
Water Filter with a Nordic single tap,
screw the blanking cap onto the male
thread of the shut-off valve. Connect the
blue striped hose (A) to the shut-off valve
using the blue fibre washer.
2. Connecting the bracket
Push the blue striped hose (A) firmly into
the inlet marked “IN” on the bracket. Push
the plastic hose (B) firmly into the outlet
marked “OUT” on the bracket.
Please note
Install the hoses without tension and
sharp bends. Use the supplied elbow
connector if necessary.
Connecting water
- When fitting the Cold Water Filter to an existing Quooker system, switch off the Quooker
system by pressing the ‘Q’ button on top of the tank. Leave the plug in the socket.
- Run the boiling and cold water together until the water runs cold.
- Close the main stopcock or isolation valve(s).
- Check if the Quooker system is depressurized by opening the boiling-water tap.
No more water should now come out of the tap.
- Remove the plug from the socket.
- When connecting the hoses, only use the supplied fibre washer and hose screens. Do not use
and liquid sealants.
