1. Command Quick Reference Guide

1.1 Common (*) Commands

Common (*) Commands Summary

Command

Description

Clears the data structures. The SCPI registers are
cleared.

Sets the Standard Event Status Enable Register.

*ESE?

Returns the Standard Event Status Enable Register.

Returns the contents of the Standard Event Status
Register and then clears it.

Returns the identification of the device connected to
the computer (Host).

Causes the 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter
to set the operation complete bit in the Standard Event
Status Register when all pending operations have
completed.

*OPC?

Returns the operation complete bit in the Standard
Event Status Register when all pending operations
have completed.

Recalls the settings of the 0.001-6 GHz Single Chan-
nel Upconverter from the specified register (memory
location).

Returns the 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter
to its initial power up state.

Saves the settings of the 0.001-6 GHz Single Chan-
nel Upconverter to the specified register (memory lo-
cation).

Saves the default settings of the 0.001-6 GHz Single
Channel Upconverter to the specified register (mem-
ory location).

Sets the Service Request Enable register bits.

*SRE?

Returns the Service Request Enable register bits.

Returns the 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter
status byte.

Performs a self-test and returns the result.

Causes the 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter
to wait until either all pending commands are com-
plete, the Device Clear command is received, or the
power is cycled before executing any subsequent com-
mands or queries.
