Quicksilver 675PH — System & Component Overview and Operation
6. Fish Boxes
Your boat has two large fish boxes located on the port and starboard side of the cockpit. Each fish box
has a drain plug that allows for the discharge of water from the compartment. In addition, on the
port fish box, there is an optional electric pump out system that discharges water overboard.
The discharge pump can be accessed through the aft center cockpit floor hatch. To operate, press the
switch marked FISHWELL PUMPOUT on the switch panel located on the aft port side of the boat
under the gunnel cap.
The fish box drain plugs must be installed before
putting your boat in the water.

The boat, when in service shall be equipped with the following portable fire extinguisher:
1. Fire Rating 13A 89B C
The boat owner/operator shall:
1. Have the fire fighting equipment checked at the intervals indicated on the equipment.
2. Replace portable fire extinguisher, if expired or discharged, by devices of identical fire fighting
capacity.
3. Have fixed systems refilled or replaced when expired or discharged.
4. Ensure that the fire fighting equipment is readily accessible when the boat is occupied.
5. Inform the members of the crew about the location and operation of the fire fighting
equipment, the locations of discharge openings in to the engine space, and the locations of
escape routes and exits.
6. Keep the bilges clean and check for fuel and gas vapors or fuel leaks frequently.
The fire extinguisher is located inside the cabin by the entry door on the bench seat base, while the
fire port is located on the aft vertical wall of the cockpit by the transom door.
