3.7.2.  Turn off the Module

Normally, there are two approaches to turning off the module:

Turn off the module using the PWRKEY pin.

Turn off the module using

AT+QPOWD

command.

3.7.2.1.  Turn off the Module with PWRKEY

Driving the PWRKEY pin to a low level for at least 800 ms, and the module will power off after the pin is

released. The timing of turning off the module is illustrated in the following figure.

3.7.2.2.  Turn off the Module with AT Command

It is also a safe way to use

AT+QPOWD

command to turn off the module, which is similar to turning off the

module via the PWRKEY pin. Please refer to

document [1]

for details about the

AT+QPOWD

 command.

1.  In order to avoid damaging internal flash, please do not switch off the power supply when the module

works normally. Only after the module is shut down by PWRKEY or AT command, the power supply

can be cut off.

2.  When  turning  off  the  module  with  AT  command,  please  keep  the  PWRKEY  at  high  level  after

executing the power-off command. Otherwise the module will power on again after its being turned

off.
