8. Attaching the frame to the chassis
The soft carrycot or the seating unit are attached to the frame.
9. Attaching the carrying handle
Assemby
. Before you insert the frame into the chas-
sis, open both the frame mounting brackets complete-
ly, until they are at right angles to the frame. Turn the
frame so that the frame holders point downwards. Now
bring the frame into a horizontal position and then push
the frame mounting brackets into the insertion slots on
the chassis. The frame and chassis are tightly fastened
together when you hear an audible clicking sound from
both sides.
Adjustment
. The soft carrycot can be used only in the
horizontal position (‘lying down’), for the seating unit
three different adjustable positions are available : llying
down, reclining and sitting.
To adjust the frame, simultaneously press both the
white knobs on the frame mounting. Now you can ad-
just the tilt angle of the frame. The frame will percepti-
bly snap into one of the three possible positions.
Removal
. Bring the frame into a horizontal position.
Simultaneously push both the white knobs on the hing-
es of the pushing handle. Now lift the frame vertically
upwards, the frame mounting will slide out of the inser-
tion slots.
The carrying handle is attached centrally to the frame.
To attach press both the white knobs at the ends of the
handle, keep these pushed down and then insert the
handle into the lugs, on the left and right of the frame.
As soon as you hear a clicking sound the carrying han-
dle is locked in place, and can be used. To remove
the carrying handle, push both the white knobs at the
ends of the handle simultaneously and pull it vertically
upwards.
