For a serial connection to the appliance.

port

RJ45 port for a serial connection to the appliance.
The USB 3.0 ports are backwards compatible to USB 2.0.

LOM port
LOM (Lights Out Management) port to connect to the LOM Card.

Management and
Synchronization
ports
The top synchronization port synchronizes with cluster members or a
High Availability peer.
The bottom management port is for an Ethernet connection to a
remote management computer.

ESD grounding
point
When servicing the appliance, connect an ESD strap to this point.

2 Storage devices
When monitoring the storage devices with the
raid_diagnostic
command,
DiskID 0
is the left storage device, and
DiskID 1
is
the right storage device (numbered 1 and 2 on the appliance's
chassis).
