Adaptive In-line Data Deduplication : Data is deduplicated on ingest.
Deferred Processing Data Deduplication
: Data is ingested to disk first,
then deduplicated in a separate process at a time set by the user.
Replication DXi4500 models offer support for remote replication.
Replication is asynchronous, one-to-one or multiple-to-one
configurations; shares in same unit act as replication source or target;
units with shares acting as replication targets can also support local
backup.
