Users are now advised when they attempt to write more data to a tape than will
fit, and the report includes transfer size and remaining space information
Note:
When archiving a large number of files, the FTP client may take
several minutes to calculate the required space and the browser
may appear to be locked up – please be patient, the copy will
start once the applet has assured there is adequate space for the
requested operation
•
Unexpected disconnects from the FTP Client have been eliminated in most
circumstances
•
If there was a hard write error when writing a file to tape, the item will not appear
in the directory and reporting of this condition is expanded
•
Unused functions in the setup menu have been removed
•
Menu organization has been adjusted to separate “Eject Tape” from “Erase Tape”
so users will be less likely to mistakenly select the wrong one
•
Certain problems arising from archiving hidden files have now been resolved
•
Creation of zero-length files which can not be overwritten has been fixed
•
Certain problems arising from incorrect file/folder permissions settings have

errors

•
Certain problems with some AppleDouble file resources have been corrected for
all known file situations
•
Problems related to using Windows Explorer v6.x have been fixed

It is no longer possible to eject a tape before the system has completely updated
all directory information
•
The Transfer list file enumeration at the bottom of the page now shows the total
number of files to be transferred upon starting. It is now possible to copy a very
large number of files in a single operation, however the transfer list will only
show the last 10-15,000 files. The summary will still indicate the total number of
files transferred and any errors encountered.
