Chapter 2 — Installing Hardware

Replacing the Fan Assembly

Refer to the following instructions to replace the fan assembly:

1. Remove the chassis cover. See

Removing the Chassis Cover

on page 12.

2. Remove the fan duct by lifting the duct clear of the chassis.

3. Disconnect the two fan power cables from the mainboard as shown.
