2 – Device Installation
2.1 – Mounting
The case for the D32i is designed ready to fit in a standard 19”
rack. The rack mount tabs are built in to the front panel of the
unit (rack screws are not supplied). Use four screws to secure
the unit to the rack. Dimensioned drawings can be downloaded
from the Documents section of the

2.2 – Audio Wiring
All connections to the Synapse D32i should be made before the
power is applied. Attach audio sources that will be used to the
analog audio inputs. The analog audio inputs are balanced, so
be sure to check what output type the source to be connected
uses in order to find how to connect it correctly.

2.2.2 – DB25 Pin-Out Configuration
For devices using DB25 connectors, the TASCAM standard is
used for the pin-out configuration as shown below.
