Procedures to Setup the Serial Console

Setup the serial cable between the controller and one server/host like in the below image.

Figure 6-2 Connect the Console Cable

You must use terminal software such as HyperTerminal or Putty to open the console after
the connection is made.

INFORMATION:

Here we first demonstrate HyperTerminal. The console settings are on the following.

Baud rate: 115200, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and no flow control
