Hot-swap Hard Drives
The QNAP NAS is compatible with 2.5-inch/3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives from major hard
disk brands. For the updated hard drive compatibility list, please visit
http://www.qnap.com.
Caution:
QNAP disclaims any responsibility for product damage/malfunction or data
loss/recovery due to misuse or improper installation of hard disks in any occasions for
any reasons.
Note that if a hard drive (new or used) which has never been installed on the NAS
before is installed, the hard drive will be formatted and partitioned automatically and
all the disk data will be cleared.
