Connecting the RAID Enclosure to a Computer
A Windows, macOS, or Linux computer does not limit the number of RAID enclosures it can support.
However, QNAP recommends keeping the maximum RAID enclosure connections to four at a time.
Warning
Boot failures may occur when disconnecting and reconnecting the external device from
the host device repeatedly within a short time. QNAP recommends waiting 10 seconds
before reconnecting the external device to the host device.
