Using the Lamp
Turning on/off the Lamp and Adjusting Brightness
• Press the power button on the lamp base to turn on the lamp. (Figure b) To turn off the lamp,
press the power button again.
• To adjust lamp brightness, press and hold the power button and the brightness will change
gradually. When the brightness reaches your desired level, release the power button.
Folding the Lamp
This lamp can be folded and flattened to minimize the space required for storage and
transportation.
A safety mechanism is equipped on the lamp base to prevent your fingers from being accidentally
clamped by the lamp arm and lamp base. Be sure to slide and hold the safety pin switch on the
lamp base to the right (as shown in figure c
) to unlock the safety pin before folding the lamp
arm (as shown in figure c
). Release the safety pin switch until the lamp arm is fully flattened.
Adjusting Lamp Angle
You can adjust the angle of the lamp arm and lamp plate according to your desktop space to
obtain a suitable lighting effect. (Figure d)
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Cleaning the Lamp
Turn off the lamp first, and unplug the lamp from the power outlet. Wipe any smears or dusts off
the lamp's outer casing using a soft, lint-free cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent
solvent. Do not use alcohol or any other chemical solvents like kerosene, naphtha and so on, as
the lamp's casing may become damaged.
Cleaning the Wiring
• Turn off the lamp first, and unplug the lamp from the power outlet. Wipe the lamp's wiring
clean using a soft, lint-free cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solvent. Never use a
wet cloth, as it may cause an electric shock.
• Do not rinse the lamp or any of its components directly with water.
Troubleshooting
If the lamp does not turn on, check to make sure that there are no loose connections between
the lamp, power cord, power adapter, and the power outlet.

Note: Although the lamp arm is capable of 180
rotation, the lamp’s balance can only be kept within
the recommended 135 rotation range (a thin black
line is engraved on the lamp arm spindle to indicate
the 135 rotation limit). Rotating the lamp arm over
135 will cause the lamp to lose its balance and
topple over.
