In normal temperature conditions, please arrange the thermostat at the middle setting.

Before loading the appliance with packages of fresh food, make sure they are cooled to
ambient temperature.
■
Ice and frost layer increases energy consumption, so clean the appliance as soon as the
layer is 3-5 mm thick.
6. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Unplug the refrigerator before defrosting or cleaning.
6.1. OVERALL CLEANING
Unplug the refrigerator before defrosting or cleaning.

Soft towels or sponge dipped in water and non-corrosive neutral detergents are suggested
for cleaning. The refrigerator shall be finally cleaned with clean water and dry cloth. Open
the door for natural drying before the power is turned on.
■
Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes),
organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or a kaline
items, which may damage the fridge surface and interior.
6.2. DEFROSTING
Due to seasonal changes, a thick layer of frost may form. To defrost manually, unplug the
appliance from the power supply, then remove excess frost with a dry cloth.
Defrosting regularly helps to lower the energy consumption of the appliance.
6.3. FRIDGE INTERIOR CLEANING
After defrosting you should clean the interior of the Fridge with a weak solution of bicarbonate of
soda. Then rinse with warm water using a damp sponge or cloth and wipe dry. Wash the drip tray
and shelf in warm soapy water and ensure they are completely dry before replacing in the Fridge.
6.4. EXTERIOR CLEANING
Use standard non-abrasive detergent diluted in warm water to clean the Fridge exterior.
The grille of the condenser at the back of the Fridge and the adjacent components can be
vacuumed using a soft brush attachment.
Do not use harsh cleaners, scouring pads or solvents to clean any part of the Fridge.
6.5. OUT OF OPERATION

Power failure: In case of power failure, even if it is in summer, foods inside the appliance
can be kept for several hours; during the power failure, the times of door opening shall be
reduced, and no more fresh food shall be put into the appliance.
■
Long-time nonuse: The appliance shall be unplugged and then cleaned; then the doors are
left open to prevent odor.
■
During short absences (example: holidays), the refrigerator can remain on. However,
remember that prolonged power outages may occur while you are away.
■
Moving: Before moving the refrigerator, take out all objects inside, fix the shelves with tape,
and tighten the levelling feet; close the doors and fix them with tape. During moving, the
appliance shall not be laid upside down or horizontally, or be vibrated; the inclination during
movement shall be no more than 45°.
The appliance shall run continuously once it is started. Generally, the operation of the
appliance shall not be interrupted, otherwise the service life may be impaired.
