1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this product, carefully read these instructions and keep the user
manual for future reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
4. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
5. Keep the kitchen scale and batteries out of reach of children. This product is
not a toy and should not be used by children or stored accessible to them.
6. Do not exceed the kitchen scale’s maximum capacity. Overloading your
scale can permanently damage it. The maximum capacity is 5 kg.
7. Place the kitchen scale on a flat, stable, and dry surface, free from vibrations
and drafts for accurate results.
8. The kitchen scale is a precision device. Do not strike, shake or drop the scale.
9. Do not put the kitchen scale in direct sunlight, close to heaters, or near
direct draughts from air conditioners.
10. This device is intended for household, indoor and dry use only. Do not use
it for medical or commercial purposes. Do not weigh animals.
11. Do not pour hot water into the bowl. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or
cold. Scale performs best at normal room temperature.
12. Do not use the product for purposes other than those intended.
13. Do not put heavy things on the kitchen scale when not in use.
14. Do not store the base in an upright position.
15. Do not tamper with the product. Never attempt to service, dismantle the
product yourself, or push objects into the openings. This may result in fire,
electric shock, or equipment damage and invalidate the warranty. This
product contains no user-serviceable parts.
16. Remove the batteries if the scale is not used for a long time. Batteries that
are flat or out of use for a long time may leak.
